Osher Levi
My journey into photography began in 1985, in my birth place, Israel. My first camera, a 35 mm Zenith, was a gift from my father, who recognized and encouraged my passion for photography.
In my home town, Beer sheva, we had one printing shop that had their printing machine at the window. Standing outside, waiting for my prints to be printed, gave me so much joy. I loved seeing my prints emerge from the machine.
At the age of 21, I moved to Los Angeles, took evening classes in photography at the city college, and worked as a photographer's assistant and a freelance photographer.
Currently, I live in Marin County, California, am married, and have a sweet boy who runs away every time he sees a camera pointing at him.
